The Dead mountains

This is a little old and very little at the moment but my teachers and stuff love this painting so I'm putting it here so that you all can see it. It's allegedly in the style of Max Earnst using frottage and grottage techniques which is a fancy way of saying "scraping the paint". We then ripped up our textures and rearranged them into a picture. then we added backgrounds with paint, highlights and shadows with oil pastel. Funnily enough, that red moon was not even part of my own original paintings; it was scraps from another person's.
