Big Sur Landscape

the picture reference for this painting was taken while I was at the Big Sur river somewhere in California. While I was there, I stacked some rocks. they got to be pretty tall stacks...

takin' forever to upload... description time This was done as part of the AP art class at my school and the class used and underpainting method that was new to me. My underpainting was blue and then I went back with red and green then I used oil paint on top of the Acrylic to add highlights and extra color.
